Improvements are Coming to FinChat in 2024
2023 was a big year, but there's more to come.
Before talking about some of our upcoming improvements, let's take a look at some of the updates we made throughout 2023:
✅ Merged with Stratosphere 🎉
In November of 2023, we combined our best-in-class equity research terminal with our conversational AI assistant to build a complete unified platform.

✅ Added Stock Screener
We introduced our robust stock screening tool so that users can discover companies based on their preferred parameters.
✅ Built Custom DCF modelsWe know how much fundamental investors enjoy building Discounted Cash Flow models, so we made it easier. We now have easy-to-edit custom DCFs for more than 30,000 companies on our platform. Each DCF uses consensus analyst estimates to pre-populate the growth assumptions for that company.
✅ Dark Mode/Light Mode
Users asked for it so we built it. Now users can explore, research, and discover stocks in either dark mode or light mode by simply adjusting the toggle in the settings tab.
✅ Stacked Bar ChartsWith Stacked Bar Charts, users can now visualize fundamentals in a stacked manner instead of side by side. This is particularly helpful for visualizing a company's revenue by segment or a company's market share based on a specific metric.
✅ Multiple Y-AxisWith Multiple Y-Axis, users can now utilize two separate y-axes when analyzing two or more different metrics. By clicking on the "up arrow" next to the preferred metric (circled in red), you can deploy an independent y-axis.
✅ Index to ZeroWith Index to 0, users can view the cumulative performance of a certain metric over your preferred time period.
In other words, instead of seeing revenue by year and calculating the change yourself, you can easily see the total percentage change with the click of a button (circled in red).
Here are a few cases where you might find this feature helpful:
Stock price performance.
Revenue and earnings change over multiple years.
Shares outstanding change.
FinChat now has company-specific KPIs on more than 1,300 stocks and the list continues to grow every day. We will continue to update and grow our proprietary database of the most important metrics for companies all around the globe.
✅ Added SEC Filings, Quarterly/Annual Reports, and Earnings Call Transcripts
We know our FinChat users love researching individual stocks, so we wanted to make that process even easier. One of the most important ways to keep up with a company is by reading their conference calls and following their fundamental updates each quarter.
Under each company's "Filings" tab on FinChat, we provide all SEC filings, quarterly and annual Reports, and conference call transcripts in a single place.
Beyond the features mentioned above, we've also introduced:
Ownership data
Earnings calendars
Hedge fund letters
Super investor holdings
Speed improvements
New user interface
And plenty more.
While 2023 was no doubt a landmark year for us, our roadmap is already full with loads of exciting new improvements.
Here's a shortlist of new features users can expect to see in Q1 and Q2:
AI producing equity reports
Enterprise options for integrating AI into professional workflows
